Finally got the new workshop in production mode and a few special friends came around to celebrate last night on a perfect balmy evening. Helen made sangria which was “to die for”.  While not officially open today I did get some people dropping in and it was easy for me to open the studio for them since I was pottering in the garden and a couple of people went off happy with new treasures. A good start say I and I thank everyone who helped me get there. Couldn’t have done it without you and you know who you are!!! Living treasures!

And a reminder that the opening hours are posted on the “About” page!

Just need to vacuum half a floor in the old shop in Port Elliot and then it’s done. Vac died after 10 minutes so back tomorrow with the home vac to finish the job.

The home studio is nearly finished being painted… but there’s a workbench in bits yet and one tall showcase which needs cutting down to fit under the rather lower ceiling. Hopefully all will be sorted within two weeks and we’ll be back in production.

Can’t wait to sit down and start working again. So many new ideas lining up!

Seabreeze Silver is going home. The shop at 33 North Terrace, Pt Elliot is closing at the end of February and the studio under the house at 26 Coorong Crescent, Encounter Bay will be our new home.

From April on (if not before) I will open to the public on Thursday and Friday from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm and the first and third Saturdays in the month at the same hours.

Don’t be shy, if I’m home I’ll open the studio for you to look and be happy to do so. Looking is encouraged, buying optional!!
